Effect of 3BP on the extracellular acidification rate (ECAR), oxygen consumption rate (OCR), and the OCR/ECAR ratio of TNBC cells. BT20 and MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with 20 or 100 μM 3BP for 1 h in DMEM prior to measurement of (A) EACR, (B) OCR, and (C) OCR/EACR. For the time-course measurements of (D) EACR, (E) OCR, and (F) OCR/EACR, 3BP was injected through the cartridge ports for a final concentration of 100 μM in the well, following a baseline measurement for each group. Statistical significance was calculated using “unmatched” two-way ANOVA, with the P value corrected for multiple comparisons using the Sidak test. Multiplicity adjusted P value is reported.
