After data dimension reduction the difference between cohorts), cancer-free Lynch syndrome carriers (LS), sporadic colorectal cancer patients (CRC) and cancer-free non-carrier controls (CTRL), was tested for significance using PERMANOVA on the PcoA distance matrices. PERMDISP test was used to test if the variance of cohorts was significantly different or not. ANOSIM test was used to test if there is more similarity within the cohorts than between cohorts compared to all cohorts and each cohort paired.
